PROJECT BRIEF:Oce Printing Systems was faced with two competing objectives: the need to consolidate multiple operation locations into one integrated facility, and the desire to remove non-productive land assets from their corporate balance sheets. To resolve these issues simultaneously, our team worked hand in hand with Oceʼs executive officers to structure a deal where the land was purchased from Oce and utilized to construct a new 150,000 square foot, custom designed facility that Oce then leased back at a very competitive rate. The net results of this collaborative approach were increased employee productivity, lower net operating costs, and cash back to Oceʼs bottom line.
